Piton Gun is an unused, weapon-like gadget, discovered in GoldenEye 007, by the efforts of several hackers. It has no model assigned to it, however, it does have statistics. According to hackers, it was supposed to fire a piton, which was supposed to share its model and behavior with that of the grenade launcher grenades. It's capacity would only be of 1.
In the movie, Bond uses this weapon to grapple onto a section of the Byelomorye dam and stop his bungee jump. He then used the gun's built-in laser to cut open a panel preventing access to the chemical warfare facility's ventilation system. Presumably the gun would have been used in a similar manner, if only it was made it into the final version.

- The piton gun is mentioned in the Q-Branch portion of the dam mission's briefing, along with the bungee itself. Even though the gun does not appear in the mission. Interestingly enough, it is never mentioned in the earlier revision of the briefing.
- The area Bond grapples onto and the panel he cuts open in the film are both modeled in as a part of the dam's background. Given the development process of the game, this does not mean the piton gun was ever actually a functional gadget, or that these areas were ever intended to be used in the mission.
