Plastique is an explosive gadget that must be placed to complete an objective in the Soviet missile silo. It is a block of C-4 with a timed detonator attached. Bond tosses the plastique ahead of himself in an arc. It will stick to any wall, floor, ceiling, or object it collides with, except for actors. If the plastique is subsequently destroyed after being placed, it will cause a sequence of massive explosions which will follow Bond until he dies or finishes the mission.
Do note that the plastique is not actually a timed explosive, unlike hand grenades or timed mines. Instead, the timed sequence in the missile silo is set with an action block.
Technical
Plastique bears the unique characteristic of setting off randomly-placed explosions around each character when the object is destroyed. It does this by setting $80036444 to 1, just as the action type F6 does.
