Q is a recurring character in the James Bond series. He is the head of Q Branch, the fictional research and development division of the British Secret Service.
Akin to M and Moneypenny, Q makes a non-physical appearance in the 1997 video game on the briefing screen, providing information for each mission.

Q often provides information on the various gadgets that will be used in each mission. He is often annoyed by Bond's reckless use of equipment provided by Mi6, and tends to make snarky comments towards the agent.
