The Russian Infantry are found in the Missile Silo and Statue Park levels where they guard the Silo's sensitive data from falling into enemy hands and guard the Statue Park from intruders, respectively. Strangely, they can also be found in the Egyptian Temple level. Here, they aid Baron Samedi in his quest for revenge on Bond as he lured him into a trap by stealing Francisco Scaramanga's Golden Gun. Unknown how they fit in storywise, perhaps Rare put them there because they blend in with the scenery.

Weapons UsedEdit

The Russian Infantry, while working for the Russian military in Silo and Statue, only carry KF7 Soviets, the standard weapon of Russian military grunts. While aiding Baron Samedi in Egyptian, they are equipped with ZMG (9mm)'s.

• They are the 14th character in the roster.
• His head is based off "Karl".
• They are permanently available after the Antenna Cradle stage is beaten.

NotesEdit

In screenshots from a pre-release version of GoldenEye, the Russian Infantry made an appearance in both the Facility and Archives missions. They may have been used as a filler before the Russian Soldiers were chosen, or perhaps before they were even designed. However, both can be seen together in a shot from the Archives. This could have been taken during the transition, while testing which one better suited the environment.
